It is worth noting that this will affect prospective buyers of undeveloped plots of land which are home to indigenous and particularly protected trees. A complicating factor is what the land is zoned for; however a licence will have to be sought ‘from DAFF or a delegated authority’ to clear or partially clear the plot.
