Recent articles in our newspapers have told us that since the storm surges more of the VOLO wreck has been exposed. The VOLO, a Norwegian barque, went aground between Kwaaihoek and Boesmans Estuary around 7am Friday morning 6 March 1896. All 19 crew were saved.
