Sustainable Seas Trust reports that the Bridge to Beach cleanup along both estuaries on Saturday 23rd April was a huge success. Groups of school children from local schools as well as representatives from participating groups took part in this event. Everybody listened attentively to information on the marine ecosystems. It was heart warming to see the community show passion for and take action in improving the health and sustainability of our environment. A special thank you was extended to the organizers of the event, Jo Wilmot and our Daphne McNeill, and to the Kenton-on-Sea Round Table for providing delicious boerewors rolls after the event.
