Ncumisa Mziza from Sustainable Seas Trust (SST) told us that in marking World Oceans Day 2018 SST staff in partnership with staff from Sibuya Game Reserve transported 25 learners and two teachers from Klipfontein Primary School by boat up the Kariega Estuary to undertake a clean-up of the estuary. 18 bags of litter, which was mostly plastic, were collected after which the learners were taught about pollution and recycling.
