For the past four years the Bushman’s River has been cleaned up by a group of dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers, with Jack Blaker and Mike Hutton being regulars.
Doran Herringer tells us that he and Allan Louw initiated this project and the clean up happens about three times a year with the next one due in November. Louis Hattingh of Build It and Norman Smith help us cart away the rubbish.
Estuary Care supports the clean up by providing funds towards the project.
