It may not be possible to enforce by-laws for the control of dogs along our estuaries and beaches but for the health of the environment and as a courtesy to other users please keep your dogs on a leash and pick up after them!
It is breeding season for many of our estuarine and coastal bird species. White Fronted Sand Plover pairs are either on their nests or running around with tiny balls of fluff in tow.
